I started reading the True Blood series by Charlaine Harris recently and was happy to find HBO made a series based on the books. Like dexter seasons 1-7 dvd many reviewers, I am somewhat disappointed in the changes made to the overall story. I know sex sells, but the show is completely over the top and I found many of the additions more Disney dvd offensive than anything. I found it hard to like many of the characters in the show because they made the characters into perverse, sexual deviants. Jason's character changes were the most game of thrones seasons 1-2 dvd extreme and I found myself fast forwarding many of his scenes because I couldn't stand watching his mental incompetence and the fact they turned him into some sort of perverted drug addict, rather then true blood dvd the charming ladies man he was in the book. I found NOTHING appealing about Jason's character in the show whatsoever. On the negative side, the show's theme music is interesting but I found the graphics that went Disney dvd collection 172 with it somewhat off-putting. I suppose you can say that images of death and decay coupled with footage of KKK gatherings and river Baptisms are relevant to the show's material and setting, but true blood seasons 1-5 I just found it bizarre and a bit repulsive. Also, I agree with another reviewer that the show does come off a grey's anatomy seasons 1-8 dvd tad heavy on the soft core sex scenes. The bodies are certainly pretty enough, particularly the sexually compulsive Jason and the thoroughly entertaining Lafayette. But I could do without yet another scene of merlin seasons 1-5 dvdJason banging some girl's head into a wall...or a bedboard...or a mirror. Lastly, some of the acting downton abbey seasons 1-3 dvd on the part of the supporting cast is below par. If I have to listen http://www.hotdvdset.com/ to Diane the cheesy vampiress giggle her way through another scene I may have to mute the TV until it's over. which everyone knows she wasn't. Jason is going to join thetrue blood dvd online FOS, which didn't happen. Once again, I didn't expect the show to follow the series exactly but if it is going to be so different why bother creating it? Once again, I just wish Alan Ball had created his own vampire worldDisney dvd box set 172 and left Charlaine's work alone.
